For some of us, spring is starting to tease and I could not be happier about it. The warmer weather, after all, will also usher in new things at Quill & Crow and the soothing rain will help as you read what stories will be coming your way soon!
First of all, Rituals & Grimoires: Gothic Tales of Magic and Wizardry is currently available for preorder. The book officially drops on March 20th, so just a few more short weeks until you can dive into these tales. Until then, we hope you enjoy the teasers that we have and will continue to show on our social media accounts. Be sure to follow us and order your copy now!
We also have two novels coming this spring. On April 25th. you can learn all about what makes a fairy evil with the true story behind the Wicked Fairy of Sleeping Beauty in Rosalyn Briar’s, Her Dark Enchantments. Then on May 15th, you can join Theodora Corvus as she begins her life as a governess to the daughter of Cassius Thorne and the mysteries surrounding his house in L.V. Russell’s, The Quiet Stillness of Empty Houses. Both novels are available for preorder in The Crow Shoppe today.
Join A.L. Garcia and Melanie Whitlock on Wednesday, March 8 at 5pm EST. They will be talking with L.V. Russell about her novel live on Instagram. Learn more about The Quiet Stillness of Empty Houses and be prepared to drop questions for the author as time allows. There will also be a giveaway, so make sure to be there!
Our last anthology of the year is now open for submissions. Violent Delights & Midsummer Dreams is an anthology of Shakespeare retellings, but we are looking for them to be told with fresh perspectives with a Gothic twist. To learn more about what we are and are not looking for with this anthology, please see our submissions page on the website. The deadline to submit is April 1st, so get those stories in.
