5 Must-Read Books Coming Soon!

I hope you all have been following along with us as we talk books and gothic history on social media. I'm getting to hint about more of the books coming your way soon, and I hope you are looking forward to them as much as I am!

Eye of the Ouroboros by Megan Bontrager is out in the world. If you haven’t gotten a copy of this, I highly recommend doing so. This story is unlike others I’ve read, and I thoroughly enjoyed every word of it. If you love morally gray characters, cosmic horror, and found family, this is definitely for you. 

Next month, A.M. Davis’s The Mourning of Leone Manor will be released. This gothic romance is full of phantoms, some physical and some emotional. There is a layer of mystery to the story, and it will keep you on the edge of your seat. Head to The Crow Shoppe today to preorder your copy, which will be out May 17th.

In June, we’ll be releasing There Ought to be Shadows by Krissie Williams. This Southern Gothic story has deep family ties, an unlikely romance, women empowerment, and so much more. We’ll be talking more about this book soon, so watch for details and an Instagram Live with the author. She'll also be at Spooktastic this year! I can’t wait to hear more about this book and share more with you. 

Recently, we shared a sneak peek at Jim Horlock’s upcoming book, Change & Other Terrors: A Collection of Short Horror Stories, which will be released on August 10th of this year. This collection is full of short horror stories reminiscent of the strange thoughts that creep in just when you’re about to fall asleep. Stay tuned for the full cover reveal and more hints about this fantastic collection.
