Spooky Season at Q&C

Updates by editor K.R. Wieland

Hello all!

It’s spooky month, y’all! The stores are full of fun decor and the air is starting to smell like autumn (or decaying leaves) and I am here for all of it. We’ve got another book coming your way this month and other fun things going on.

Before the Salem Witch Trials, there was Geneva. In Catherine Fearns's historical fiction novel, All the Parts of the Soul, you’ll read about the true events that took place during the European witch trials of the sixteenth century. This book releases on October 20th, so you have plenty of time to get your preorders in. As always, we will have a Live on Instagram to chat with the author, and we will announce that soon. We hope to see you all there to hear more!

With Halloween coming, we have a fun giveaway on our social media platforms for you all to take part and have some fun. All you need to do is take a picture with one of our books or merchandise, post it to your socials, and tag us. That’s it! And you’ll be entered to win ten books and a secret Halloween treat. Winners will be announced on November 1.

November will bring My Little Black Book of Horror by Cassandra L. Thompson. This is a collection of eclectic short stories, all within the horror genre. You can find this available for preorder on our website right now. Speaking of The Crow Shoppe, our little store is full of some amazing things right now. We’ve got a Cupcakes and Bats section, which is inspired by My Little Black Book of Horror, as well as merchandise to go with Blood Coven, released last month. We also have a ton of Halloween merchandise, and some of it is going super fast. As always, we have books ranging from poetry to medical horror, carnivals, and dark academia. There is something there for everyone, so head there and get some items for yourself today.

Much love from my Little Black Heart,

K.R. Wieland
