Revelations & The Sea

Updates from editor, K.R. Wieland

Hello all!

Buckle up, friends, because I have a got a lot of upcoming things to tell you all about! I hope you’re

ready.

Have I mentioned our newest anthology of eldritch horror? Tales from Brackish Harbor releases next month, August 13th. Our ARC readers are loving it so far, and I’m confident you will as well. So, what are you waiting for? Head to our website and preorder your copy today.

While you’re waiting for the anthology to release, we have a few other things you’ll be able to read

soon. Our Dark Poet Society Blog will be updated with new poems on July 31st, which you can read on our website. Enjoy poetry written by the Crows as a fun way to explore new themes and longer poetry

than a Twitter post. The Crow’s Quill will follow on August 1st with more tales of eldritch horror by the sea to slake your thirst while you wait for our anthology.

I’d like to think that most of you have read The Ancient Ones by our founder Cassandra L. Thompson,

but if you haven’t, you should, and we’ve made it a little easier. The audiobook is now available so you can listen to it! Or maybe you’ve read it and want a refresher before Revelations (Book 3) releases; well, this is the perfect way to do that. You can find it on our website now.

Speaking of The Ancient Ones, Revelations, the final book in the series will be releasing (as always) on October 31st. Preorders are open now, so you can be sure to get it right on time! I’ll be honest, I cannot wait to get my hands on this book, even though I am a bit sad to see the series end, I need to know what’s going to happen. And there’s plenty of time for you to catch up on the series/reread it to prepare for another fantastic story.

Lastly, the time for submitting to our next anthology is coming soon. If you’ve been working on a story

for our Rituals & Grimoires, make sure to get those finished and polished to the best of your ability before the deadline to submit on August 1st. Make sure to head to our submissions page for details and guidelines.

For any other information on how to submit to upcoming anthologies, or The Crow's Quill, check our

submissions page and be sure to read it carefully. As always, we encourage anyone and everyone to

participate in our daily poetry prompts on Twitter and Instagram--be sure to tag us and hashtag

CrowCalls. We can’t wait to read your work!

Much love from my Little Black Heart,

K.R. Wieland
