Novels, Demons, & Crows
January Updates from Associate Editor, K.R. Wieland.

Hello all!
We at Quill & Crow hope that you all had a wonderful holiday and a Happy New Year. We have a lot going on already this year and are excited to see where 2022 will take us–and you!
To start, we are now open for novel submissions. All of us are very excited about this new adventure and we hope you are as well. To learn how to submit your novel, please head to our Submissions page. Please be sure to read the requirements carefully.
We have also opened up submissions for two anthologies coming out later this year. The first is for Carnival Macabre (May), and the second is Bleak Midwinter (December). Pay close attention to the requirements for both and be sure to send your short stories to the correct email, otherwise there is a chance they will get lost to the dark abyss.
Also new around here is the merchandise. That’s right, we have new merch for you to take a look at. From blankets to hoodies to t-shirts, you’re sure to find something you love, and something to read. I have to admit, the clothes are extremely comfortable and I wear mine any chance I get.
We’ve added a few more Crows to the team here as well. We’d love for you to join us in welcoming Stephen Black, Brad Acevedo, and J.S. Larmore. Brad and J.S. will be joining our marketing team and we are excited to have them on board. William Bartlett is returning as well, joining our Novel Acquisitions Team alongside Stephen and Tiffany.
Now, if you’re wondering what you can start reading today from us, you’ll be happy to hear that our January issue of The Crow's Quill is available and free to read. With the theme of Demons, it’s sure to keep you up at night.
As a member of the Dark Poet Society, I am more than pleased to tell you all that the Poetry Blog will be starting back up soon. Beginning in February, we will be sharing more dark poetry centered around that month’s theme. Upcoming theme is Twisted Love to go along with our upcoming anthology, Eros & Thanatos: An Anthology of Death & Desire.
So you can see, we have a lot planned this year. We’re truly hoping that you’ll take a part in what we have going on and share your thoughts, stories, and poetry with us.
Much love from my Little Black Heart,
K.R. Wieland
