December is upon us and I, for one, am not sure where the year has gone. Here at Quill & Crow, this month brings a number of exciting things!
To start with, our new anthology, Grimm & Dread: A Crow's Twist on Classic Tales, releases this Friday, December 10th in eBook, paperback and hardcover formats. You can still preorder your e-book and it will be automatically delivered to your e-reader on Friday. Last week we announced our next project, Eros and Thanatos: An Anthology of Death and Desire. The submission period is from December 2nd – January 2nd. This will be our first anthology in 2022, so be sure to head to our Submissions Page for the guidelines to send us your stories.
New poetry prompts have been posted for our daily #CrowCalls prompts. We love seeing new poets taking part in them, and we love reading your work -- especially because this month marks one year of #CrowCalls prompts!
The Crow’s Quill December issue, Dark Solstice is out as well. This month contains two poems and eight stories that will leave you wanting to keep the lights on as the solstice draws near. You can read this issue, as well as any others, for free on our website.
