I don’t know how everyone else feels, but it seems like summer is going by fast this year. I hope you’re
all enjoying it! I know I am as I’ve been doing lots of reading and anticipating all the upcoming
publications still to come from Quill & Crow this year.
Speaking of--Tales from Brackish Harbor is open for preorder! The anthology goes live on August 13 and I can’t wait for you all to get the chance to read it. This anthology is filled with so many amazing eldritch horror stories, so be sure to get your ferry tickets and visit the mysterious island soon.
The Crows will be continuing our talks on Gothic Literature and the history of it by having an Instagram Live on Monday, July 11 at 5pm EST. Join A.L. Garcia, Lucas Mann, Melanie Whitlock, and Desideria Mesa as they talk Gothic fiction. During the Live, you’ll have a chance to win Ravens & Roses, our Gothic Women’s Anthology.
We are still accepting stories for our Rituals & Grimoires anthology until August 1. We’re looking for
Gothic Tales of Dark Magic and Wizardry. While we are open to dark academia within these stories, we
are not looking for YA, and ask that the stories maintain a mature prose and theme. For further details
